The Sierra Club recently released its annual "Cool Schools" ranking of four-year colleges on the basis of their campus sustainability practices. Penn State, known for its community-wide sustainability effort, was named the top university in the state of Pennsylvania, and among the top 40 universities throughout the United State. ESP students convene at Energypath
Penn State faculty and students participated in Energypath 2015, the Sustainable Energy Fund's annual conference held in Scranton. Eight ESP students attended the conference's 3-day Solar Energy Camp, which gave students the opportunity to meet fellow ESP students while learning about renewable technologies, sustainability, and energy efficiency techniques. Dr. Vera Cole, ESP lead faculty member, was also a key instructor for the 3-day camp.
