Master of Finance graduate lands dream job
Erik Bullock had a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA, and a job as a staff accountant, but he wanted more from his career. That’s when Bullock came across the Penn State World Campus Master of Finance program online. Interview with Master of Finance professor Dr. Simon Pak featured on World Campus student blog
In a recent interview, Great Valley professor Dr. Simon Pak explains how he started out his career as a physicist, and even worked as a taxi cab driver before becoming a professor in the Penn State World Campus Master of Finance program where he teaches BUSAD 526: Current Issues in Corporate Finance and FIN 513: Speculative Markets. As part of the interview, Dr. Pak shares what inspires him as a teacher: "When I see a motivated student — a really passionate student — I try really hard to deliver the knowledge that they are seeking. Penn State online graduates come from around the world
Hector Cruz-Rosa traveled from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to graduate from Penn State with his master of finance degree. Cruz-Rosa is a pharmaceutical business unit leader with the Alcon Division of Novartis and was among the nearly 120 World Campus students traveling from across the globe to State College for Penn State's summer graduation.
