Dr. Lynn Atanasoff

Lead Career Counselor, Penn State World Campus
Dr. Lynn Atanasoff has more than 15 years of experience in student career development at Penn State. Before starting in career services at World Campus in 2010, she worked with traditional-aged learners at University Park. Her career has been in human services and health care. She does career counseling for World Campus but also has experience doing substance abuse and clinical mental health counseling. She is licensed as a professional counselor in Pennsylvania. Her experience includes working in psychiatric rehabilitation and with adults with disabilities. Her published research has emphasized the application of technology in counseling, education, and career domains. She teaches for the biobehavioral health program at World Campus but has also taught undergraduate rehabilitation health services and graduate counselor education students.
Matthew Soroka

Career Services Counselor
Matthew Soroka recently joined the World Campus Student Affairs Career Services team after more than four years serving as the associate director for career services within the Smeal MBA and MOL programs. Matthew has more than 10 years of experience working in higher education, serving both graduate students enrolled in the Smeal MBA program and undergraduate students across Penn State. Prior to his work in Career Services, Matthew was an assistant professor for sport administration at Castleton State College in Vermont.
