Penn State World Campus had its first representation in the University's homecoming during this year's festivities.

The contingent of Penn State World Campus students and alumni were honored during a recognition ceremony on Friday, October 22, at the Outreach Building that was also streamed live. During the ceremony, administrators from Penn State World Campus announced the members of the inaugural Penn State World Campus homecoming court, which included students, alumni, and two faculty members. The ceremony also recognized the students and alumni who created the Penn State World Campus homecoming committee that made this representation possible.

Students Mona Hall and Ashlee Dunlap were the recipients of the For the Glory Award, which honors student who have exemplified service to the University and have installed a sense of pride in the Penn State family.

The group also participated in various activities on campus, such as an ice cream social and the homecoming parade on the evening of October 22 on Penn State's campus and in downtown State College.
