Curriculum

The bachelor of science in business (BSBIC) is a degree-completion program for individuals who:

  • have already earned an associate degree or completed the first 2 years of a 4-year bachelor's degree and
  • have satisfied the entrance-to-major requirement.

The BSBIC degree requires students to complete a minimum of 120 credits. Students must successfully complete:

  • 32–37 prescribed core course credits
  • 21–24 additional course credits
  • 18 management and marketing option credits
  • 45 general education credits
  • 8–16 elective credits

The number of credits a student will have to take will vary according to the courses a student transfers into the BSBIC degree program. Once a student is admitted into the degree program, an assigned academic advisor will help with remaining requirements.

Courses cover a wide range of business topics including:

  • accounting
  • business law
  • business logistics
  • economics
  • finance
  • marketing
  • management
