demonstrate technical competence in demographic methods
use GIS data to answer population questions
identify and use demographic data sources
address the immediate questions and planning objectives of managers, administrators, and government officials by examining case studies of how to use demographic science
incorporate advanced geo-demographic analysis, big data, and applied statistical methods in your line of work

You will also learn how you can enter the program by taking only a single course that could later apply to either the certificate or the master's degree.
