Dr. Raymond Lombra is a professor of economics and director of the Fundraising Leadership Postbaccalaureate Certificate program. He serves as senior adviser to the dean in the Penn State College of the Liberal Arts, and has had primary responsibility for alumni relations and development there for twenty years. An award-winning teacher, Ray is author of six books and more than 75 articles, and is a recognized authority on strategic planning and effective friend- and fundraising.

Dr. Sophie Penney is a fundraising leadership professor and president of i5 Fundraising. She has more than 20 years of experience as a fundraiser and development director and is the author of numerous articles published in Advancing Philanthropy. A member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Publication Advisory Committee, she is a dedicated community volunteer, serving nonprofit organizations through board membership and service.
