Master of Professional Studies in Applied Demography Webinar

Join Dr. Stephen Matthews, faculty director of the graduate certificate and MPS programs in applied demography, for a one-hour webinar to learn how these programs can help you master the skills needed to enhance your career. Dr. Matthews will also discuss some of the learning outcomes for the degree, including the ability to:
- demonstrate technical competence in demographic methods
- use GIS data to answer population questions
- identify and use demographic data sources
- address the immediate questions and planning objectives of managers, administrators, and government officials by examining case studies of how to use demographic science
- incorporate advanced geo-demographic analysis, big data, and applied statistical methods in your line of work
You will also learn how you can enter the program by taking only a single course that could later apply to either the certificate or the MPS.
