Financial Aid

Depending on your particular set of circumstances, you may apply your G.I. Bill benefits, tuition assistance, or a combination of the two toward any World Campus course or program. Penn State World Campus admissions counselors can guide you through the funding process appropriate to your specific situation.

If you are a veteran and have questions about how to use your benefits to pay for courses, contact our admissions counselors or Dr. Brian Clark in the Office of Veterans Programs. He will guide you through the funding process appropriate to your specific situation and provide you with appropriate forms and instructions for their completion.

Penn State World Campus, as a part of the Penn State main campus, is proud to be a participant in the Yellow Ribbon program. Penn State and the V.A. are partnering to fund tuition expenses that exceed $850 per credit hour. If you are eligible, additional funds may be available for your education program without an additional charge to you.

Tuition Assistance Option

The grant-in-aid program will bring the tuition rate closer to the DoD cap, making a Penn State education more affordable.

The tuition assistance option is offered to all members of the United States Armed Forces, including Guard and Reservists, for all branches of the Department of Defense and the United States Coast Guard under the Department of Homeland Security.

To determine if you qualify for the military grant-in-aid, please contact our Admissions/Advising team.
