| SCM 800 | Supply Chain Management Introduction to the strategic framework, issues, and methods for integrating supply and demand management within and across companies. Provides an enhanced understanding of key concepts in supply chain and information systems. The systems viewpoint is explored at the individual-firm level and from the perspective of inter-firm relationships among participants in logistics supply chains. Opportunity is provided for applying supply chain management concepts through cases and other collaborative activities. |

| SCM 810 | Transportation and Distribution Transportation and distribution systems in supply chains. Emphasis on role of system cost, price, and service elements in total order management. Focuses on how conditions, managerial strategies, and social issues affect the supply and demand of transport services. The course gives special emphasis to the role of transportation in e-supply chain networks and includes coverage of transport system elements, cost and price concepts, and public policies. |

| SCM 820 | Strategic Procurement Analysis, planning, and management of domestic and international procurement and supply activities. Provides an overview of the purchasing process within the supply chain context. The student will develop an understanding of the strategic role that purchasing plays in supply chain management. Emphasis is placed on the analysis, planning, and management of domestic and international procurement and supply activities. E-procurement and the business-to-business Web-based marketplace are also examined. Cases and other collaborative activities provide the student with the opportunity to apply the concepts covered in the course. |

How long will the program take?
It is recommended that students take one course per semester for 3 consecutive semesters. At this pace you can complete the program in 12 months. The first course in the program is SCM 800 Supply Chain Management, which is offered during the fall semester.
