Tuition rates are for the 2012–13 academic year and are assessed every semester of enrollment.

• If you are taking less than 12 credits per semester: $736 per credit
• If you are taking 12 or more credits per semester (flat rate): $8,835

The information technology fee is assessed each semester and is automatically added to your semester bill in eLion.

• 9 or more credits: $244
• 5 to less than 9 credits: $183
• Less than 5 credits: $83

Paying for Your Certificate

Students pursuing a certificate are considered “nondegree,” a status that is not eligible for federal student aid, including the Federal Direct Stafford Loan program. However, a deferred payment plan is available through the Penn State Bursar. You may also want to consider a private, alternative loan.
