Residency Experiences - Master of Project Management

Community of Practice Conference

Networking among the program's students is a key component of our project management program. The Community of Practice Conference is an annual two-day residential event designed to help students create a professional network in their field. The next conference is scheduled for August 20–21, 2013. Visit the official MPM Community of Practice Conference website.

Each new student is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities offered at the two-day residential events. At a minimum, all students are required to attend the first 2-day residential event at the beginning of the program and strongly encouraged to attend another at the end. These events will provide you with additional opportunities to network with colleagues and to interact with the program's faculty.

During these in-class instructional experiences, the program director and professors will meet with the students to explain the structure of the courses, the teaching and learning process, and assessment procedures. There will also be presentations by faculty members on the latest research, as well as presentations by program graduates and corporate practitioners.
