How to Apply - Master of Professional Studies in Enterprise Architecture
Deadlines and Important Dates
Your degree application, including receipt of all materials, must be received by the deadlines dates below to be considered complete. You may apply several months in advance and indicate your planned semester start date in the application. Applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis and we encourage you to apply early.
• June 1 for fall semester admission
• October 1 for spring semester admission
Prerequisites
For admission to the Graduate School, an applicant must hold either (1) a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or (2) a tertiary (postsecondary) degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. This degree must be from an officially recognized degree-granting institution in the country in which it operates.
All applicants are expected to have earned a junior/senior grade point average of 3.0 or higher. A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience is recommended.
Application Materials
Completed application (including a nonrefundable Graduate School application fee). The application must be submitted electronically following the directions provided in the application.
Official GRE test scores will be considered if submitted, but are not required. GRE scores can be submitted using Penn State's Institutional Code — 2660
English Proficiency — The language of instruction at Penn State is English. All international applicants must take and submit scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with some exceptions. Minimum test scores and exceptions are found in the English Proficiency section on the Graduate School "How to Apply" page.
One- to two-page personal statement explaining how this program relates to your professional experience and can help you reach your career goals.
Current résumé
Three names of recommenders (Upon submission of your application, an email will be sent to the recommender requesting the completion of a reference form contained in the email. Please inform all recommenders that they must submit the form in order for your application to be complete.)
Two official transcripts from each undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended, regardless of the number of credits or semesters completed (Penn State has a convenient transcript request form.) Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. Please send transcripts by surface mail to:

- Read the admissions requirements.
- Begin the graduate school application.
- On the "Admissions and Program Information Portal" page, choose "Apply Now."
- When you get to the "Campus, Major, Degree, and Semester" page:
- Choose "WORLD CAMPUS" as the campus.
- Choose "Enterprise Architecture" as the major.
- Choose "M P S" as the degree.
