Course Description
Introduction to the specification and application of languages and language paradigms that interact with computers.
Strong writing skills are recommended for this course. If English is not your native language, it is important that you read additional information regarding English language proficiency before registering for this course.

Technical Requirements
Requires: A headset with a mic is REQUIRED for the course and a webcam is optional for use with Virtual meeting spaces like Elluminate Live, Adobe Connect, Google+ Hangouts, or Skype for virtual office hours, to interact with classmates at a distance, and/or for team presentations. You will also need to download and install the Java Standard Edition Development Kit (JDK) from Oracle. You will need version 1.6. The latest release can be accessed at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html.
