Course Description
Fundamental principles of synoptic and physical meteorology, remote sensing and data analysis in the setting of mid-latitude weather forecasting.
Strong writing skills are recommended for this course. If English is not your native language, it is important that you read additional information regarding English language proficiency before registering for this course.

There are no prerequisites for the course.

Remarks
The course consists of four components: lessons, quizzes, project, and online discussion assignments. 12 quizzes are online. METEO 801 is a highly interactive course. Students should expect to spend 3-6 hours or more online each week in order to complete course-related activities.
