Course Description

Frequency distributions and graphs; measures of central tendency and variability; normal probability curve; elementary sampling and reliability; correlations; simple regression equations.

PSYCH100; MATH 021

Students need to go to : http://www.cengagebrain.com/shop/index.html to purchase an access code to Aplia. They will be given a course key on the syllabus and then must enter it and will be directed the web page where they can purchase the course code. There are two options in getting the textbook, Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Science.  The e-text comes with Aplia. The other is that students can purchase a hardback version. Texas Instruments Calculator (TI30XS) is the recommended calculator for this course. If you would like to purchase one please do so at the vendor of your choice, for example amazon.com, Office Depot, etc. For students who plan to graduate this semester, please communicate your intent to graduate to your instructor. This will alert your instructor to the need to submit your final grade in time to meet the published graduation deadlines.
