Course Description
Importance of microorganisms in health and disease, agriculture, and industry;descriptive course for students not planning advanced study in microbiology.The combination of MICRB 106 GN and 107 GN must be taken to receive GeneralEducation credit in biology.

There are no prerequisites for the course.

Students taking both MICRB 106 and 107 should order Microbiology Fundamentals with Connect Plus and Learnsmart Labs from McGraw Hill Create.
Students taking only MICRB 106 and not 107, should contract the instructor, Mike Troyan at mbt102@psu.edu, for instructions about which material components they should purchase.
