This course examines the function and structure of communication in both formal and informal situations.

Remarks

Synchronous discussion (in Lesson 9) is required of all students, who will then enter into group discussion, working as teams, toward the major project (due in Lesson 12). The course uses Blackboard Collaborate, a Web conferencing tool, for students to participate in real-time discussion. You can go to http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com for more information.Individual and group grades will be given. For students who plan to graduate this semester, please communicate your intent to graduate to your instructor. This will alert your instructor to the need to submit your final grade in time to meet the published graduation deadlines.

Requires: Students will need to have Adobe Reader. If you do not have the required software package the current version may be purchased at Journey Ed (www.journeyed.com) or a vendor of your choice.
