Remarks
Making all the applications in an enterprise work in an integrated manner, so as to provide unified and consistent data and functionality, becomes an extremely difficult task in today's globalized economy. This course focuses on 1) a comprehensive review of integration patterns, 2) a unified description of the integration issues, and 3) an appropriate approach to the design and development of a SOA-based enterprise integration. Without previous knowledge of applications' integration, students can learn the historical and state-of-the-art approaches to implementing enterprise integration. An easy-to-understand and step-by-step approach enhanced through active and cooperative learning is the teaching/learning method adopted in this course. Online discussion, exercise, and project assignments will be used to help student learn the subject incrementally and effectively.
This course is part of a cohort program and is only available to students accepted into the Master of Software Engineering program - cohort 5.
