Course Description

Review of research in adult education, current and past, with analysis of its directions, effects, methodology, quality, financing, and prospects.

Strong writing skills are recommended for this course. If English is not your native language, it is important that you read additional information regarding English language proficiency before registering for this course.

Remarks

The sponsoring academic department requires that the core courses from the World Campus Master's Degree in Adult Education program must be completed before registering for ADTED 588 (ADTED 460, 470, 505, 506, 507, and 510). The course provides a supervised graduate research seminar for the purpose of giving students special assistance when writing a Master's Paper. A high level of student participation and initiative is expected and required. The major project for the course is the development of a Master's Paper.
