Course Description
Cultivates a working knowledge of current and future capabilities of GPS and the emerging Global Navigation Satellite System.
Strong writing skills are recommended for this course. If English is not your native language, it is important that you read additional information regarding English language proficiency before registering for this course.

Remarks
GPS and GNSS for Geospatial Professionals is an elective for students in the Certificate Program in Geographic Information Systems. It is also one of the elective courses students may choose as a course in the World Campus Master of GIS program. This course cultivates a working knowledge of current and future capabilities of GPS and the emerging Global Navigation Satellite System. The course consists of ten lessons of study, three quizzes and two papers, supported by discussions with instructors and peers in weekly conference calls. Prerequisite: GEOG 484.
