Remarks

The Professional Development Certificate in Autism is composed of four courses covering issues and strategies appropriate for individuals across the autism spectrum. The course content for this course includes types of assessment such as screening, diagnosis and identification of skills in developmental domains such as sensory, oral motor, play and communication. Practical strategies will be outlined detailing what to teach based on assessment results and an overview of curricula approaches and materials. Exams are taken online with a proctor present.
