In-depth study and application of the theoretical principles and roles of adult clients and families with complex healthcare needs.
Prerequisites
NURS 390, and current and valid RN license; Prerequisite or concurrent: NURS 357

Remarks
Students must hold a RN license and have been accepted to Penn State University and the School of Nursing. It is recommended that students take NURS 390 as the first course in their RN to BS experience. NURS 465 provides an in-depth study of the theoretical principles and roles of adult clients and families with complex heath care needs. This course will consist of 5 learning enhancement modules that will coincide with the course content. Nursing Intervention Research will also relate to each content area covered throughout the course, a case management paper and a clinical component (1 credit hour of clinical - 45 hours) with related assignments. For students who plan to graduate this semester, please communicate your intent to graduate to your instructor. This will alert your instructor to the need to submit your final grade in time to meet the published graduation deadlines.Schedule This Course
