In order to earn the certificate, you must complete at least fifteen credits from the following course options.

Turfgrass and Ornamental Weed Control Students will be introduced to the development of integrated weed management strategies utilizing a variety of cultural and chemical methods.

Turfgrass Disease Management Introduction to biology of turfgrass pathogens and management of cool- and warm-season turfgrass.

Case Studies in Turfgrass Management—**Required** Case study and discussion considering integrated management of selected turfgrass sites; emphasis on problem analysis, principle application, and decision-making. This course is required for successful completion of the turfgrass management certificate.
Prerequisites: TURF 230 (may be taken concurrently), TURF 235 (or equivalent); recommended: TURF 297, TURF 425 |

NOTE: Students who select TURF 238 to fulfill course requirements must also take TURF 230, a 1-credit pesticide management course. TURF 230 may be taken concurrently or as a prerequisite.
NOTE: Students who have a valid (and verifiable) state pesticide license can request to be automatically exempted from taking TURF 230.
Note: Students must earn at least a "C" grade in each course taken to be eligible for the certificate.
