Rachel Zimmerman

Advising Assistant

In her new role as advising assistant, Rachel will advise students in World Campus certificate programs and various students pursuing associates degrees. Rachel joined the Penn State World Campus advising team in January 2008 as a team assistant, providing administrative support to the advising and retention team. Prior to that, she served for two years as a staff assistant in Penn State’s Office of Engineering Diversity, where she worked with underrepresented student groups in the College of Engineering.

She loves to interact with Penn State students and guide them to the correct contact person in order to help them be successful in their college endeavors.

An alumna of Penn State’s College of the Liberal Arts, Rachel earned an associate degree in letters, arts, and sciences and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology through Penn State World Campus.

"As a part-time Penn State student myself, I share a unique perspective with our students that will enable me to assist them with achieving academic success."
