Matt has been a Penn State World Campus adviser since 2004. Previously, he was a member of the World Campus course registration team. Matt holds a bachelor's degree in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master's degree in political science from Penn State.
He is currently working on a doctorate in political science at Penn State, writing a dissertation about the international politics and economics of natural disasters.
Matt enjoys both playing and watching tennis, soccer, and volleyball. He is also an avid eco-traveler, outdoorsman, and landscape photographer. His favorite destinations have been Hawaiian volcanoes, the Brazilian savannah, and Icelandic geysers, though he is just as happy when camping and hiking in the Pennsylvania forests with friends and family.
