Jane came to Penn State as an academic adviser in 1998, the same year the World Campus was launched. Prior to that, she was a teacher; with undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, she has had a lifelong passion for working with and advocating for students.

The opportunities that a Penn State online education can present for all types of learners continue to be exciting for Jane. She finds it particularly rewarding to work with adults and the challenges they face. In addition to advising Liberal Arts students, she enjoys working with the World Campus Student Fund committee and the World Campus OnLion newsletter.

Jane loves all things creative and spends her time away from work taking photographs, painting with watercolors, and writing. She is an avid sports fan, an addicted reader, and the mother of two adult children and a spoiled dog and cat.
