"The World Campus has made me feel really good about myself. I love to learn and I am happy to be able to study something I enjoy. I can do something for myself without sacrificing a lot of time with my family." —Renee Melton, undergraduate student

Residency Experience

Create a Professional Network

The project management program is designed to develop a community of practice in project management. Networking among the program's students is key to achieving this objective. Students maintain contact with each other both while involved in the program and after their graduation. Residency events occur at the start of each fall semester. Each new student is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities offered at the 2-day residential events. At a minimum, all students are strongly encouraged to attend at least two 2-day residential events, one at the beginning of the program and another at the end. These events will provide you with additional opportunities to network with colleagues and to interact with the program's faculty. Rolls Royce-sponsored students are required to attend all residential events.

During these in-class instructional experiences, the program director and program professors will meet with the students to explain the structure of the courses, the teaching and learning process, and assessment procedures. There will also be presentations by faculty members on the latest research, as well as presentations by program graduates and corporate practitioners.
