"During the time of my study with Penn State Online, I held down a full time professional level job, worked part time at my church coordinating the children's department, and performed the duties of trustee for a family. I would have never been able to do all of those things if I had taken classes at a traditional university." — Brian Tomisser, graduate student

Graduate in 2 Years

You have flexibility in scheduling your courses. If you choose to study at an accelerated pace, you can earn your degree in 5 semesters or less than 2 years. You may take up to 9 credits per semester, the number limited only by any policies put into effect by your employer. If you are an employee of Rolls-Royce, please contact your program coordinator if you have questions regarding the number of courses you may take per semester.

You can complete 24 credits of course work in a calendar year by taking 3 courses in your first 2 semesters and 2 courses in your third semester. After completing 24 credits of course work, you may complete the 6-credit professional paper to earn the master of project management degree. The program's faculty members recommend that this project be completed over 2 semesters.
