The 33-credit online master's degree program in information sciences can be completed in as little as two years on a part-time basis. The program is composed of a core curriculum and a choice of two options: Information Assurance and Decision Support, or Software Development.
The core course of study includes:

- data and knowledge management
- network management and security
The Information Assurance and Decision Support option includes:
- information analysis
- information assurance and decision support
- multisensor data fusion
The Software Development option includes:
- distributed-object computing
- requirements engineering
- software architecture
Up to 9 graduate credits may be transferred in from an accredited institution (as permitted by the Graduate School). At least 18 credits must be in courses at the 500 level.
