Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, in collaboration with the College of Education and the Eberly College of Science, is offering a master of education in earth sciences through the Penn State World Campus.

This 30-credit master's degree program is designed for secondary science teachers who wish to enrich their practicing knowledge in the field of earth sciences as well as enhance their teaching and leadership skills.
The master of education in earth sciences will feature courses from multiple disciplines within the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and the Eberly College of Science, including geosciences, energy and mineral engineering, meteorology, geography, and astronomy and courses in curriculum and instruction offered by the College of Education. The curriculum will prepare teachers to help students in grades 7 through 12 master the educational objectives related to earth and space science.
