Curriculum

The certificate in labor studies and employment relations provides a foundation in industrial relations, including law, policy, and practices. The program will enable you to:

  • gain an understanding of workplace and employment issues from both the employee and employer perspective
  • apply credits earned to an associate or bachelor's degree
  • take courses at a distance through the World Campus and/or on campus through Continuing Education 
The courses are taught by Penn State faculty using a combination of Web and e-mail resources as the delivery method. Applications are now being accepted for the certificate in labor studies and employment relations. Upon successful completion of the program, a Certificate of Academic Accomplishment is awarded.
