Admissions

Prerequisites:
  • a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, earned under residence and credit conditions substantially equivalent to those required by Penn State
  • TOEFL score of at least 550 on the paper test or 213 on the computer-based test (where applicable)

Before applying, carefully review the Department of Geography’s application instructions for the certificate of achievement in GIS and review the technical requirements for the program.

To apply to the program, fill out the World Campus online application form and select "Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems" as your program of interest.
