Enroll in courses from Penn State's College of Communications to educate yourself for life in a world where communication and information are playing an increasingly important role.
Through the communication studies certificate, a 15-credit program designed to teach you the major theoretical and historical foundations of mass communications, you'll develop critical skills for gathering and analyzing information, preparing you for an employment climate in which the ability to adapt is essential for success.
The courses are taught by Penn State faculty using a combination of print materials and optional Web and e-mail resources as the delivery method. All courses in the program have the added benefit of open enrollment--you can register for any course at any time, and you have up to 6 months to complete each course. Upon successful completion of the program, a Certificate of Academic Accomplishment is awarded.
