Who Should Apply

This associate degree in dietetics (Dietetic Technician Emphasis) is designed for health care and/or community nutrition and food service professionals who are interested in:
  • increasing their career opportunities and preparing for more supervisory positions, or
  • moving from a food service operation into a clinical position

Completing the Dietetic Technician Emphasis program qualifies the student for active membership in the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and for credentialing as a dietetic technician, registered (DTR).

NOTE: Supervised field experience must be conducted in the United States in order for you to be eligible for both the ADA membership and credentialing as a DTR.
