Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in this program. Please remember that admission counselors are available to discuss with you your educational goals, financial aid options, and application deadlines. Applicants should check program prerequisites before using the online application tools, which provide basic student information and academic history.      Apply online and select "Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics" as your program of interest.

Prerequisites

For admission to the Graduate School, an applicant must have received, from an accredited institution, a baccalaureate degree including a 3.0 GPA* (on a 4.0 scale) with requirements substantially equivalent to those required at Penn State. Penn State is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

*Professional experience will be taken into consideration for admission, and exceptions to the GPA requirement may be made for students with special backgrounds, abilities, and interests.
