Developed to Fulfill Your Needs
Penn State developed its initial ABA program in 1997 in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, after a department-initiated focus group identified the need for a credentialing program in ABA. The University Continuing Education Association awarded the program its 2003 National Award for Outstanding Credit Program.
And Fit Your Schedule
The certificate programs are offered in an independent, continuing education format. The first 3 courses are offered via DVD lectures, customized course materials, and supplemental online activities. These 3 courses are designed so that students can complete the course work from their homes or offices, making the program convenient and accessible for working professionals. Communication and interaction with the instructors is maintained through e-mail, telephone, and Internet Web boards
For the final course of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certificate Program course series, the participants travel to Penn State for a "live" course held in conjunction with the 5-day National Autism Conference.
