| Sloan Consortium |
Penn State World Campus is a charter member of the Sloan Consortium and participates on its board. This institutional community has been instrumental in identifying effective practices in online learning nationally and internationally. Penn State co-sponsored the Sloan Consortium's national conference from 2002 to 2004. |
| PSEA |
The Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) represents more than 158,000 educators and education-related employees. All of Penn State's online programs for educators carry PSEA's Seal of Recognition, the highest level of endorsement that the association awards to graduate and professional development programs. The seal indicates that these programs meet or exceed the rigorous standards developed by the National Staff Development Council.

Penn State is a member of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). WUN is a global research alliance that is also committed to educational innovation and research-led teaching and learning. The Network offers a range of online education programs collaboratively authored by leading faculty members and staff at centers of excellence around the world. |

Penn State World Campus collaborates with the College of Education to support the American Center for the Study of Distance Education (ASCDE). |
| University of Manchester |
Penn State and the University of Manchester are collaboratively developing and delivering an online Master of Project Management degree to employees of Rolls-Royce and AMEC in North America and the United Kingdom. This program is designed to heighten awareness of Project Management as a discipline and relies on strong cooperation among the academic institutions and the corporate partners to ensure it is both applied and theoretical. Manchester and Penn State are part of the Worldwide University Network Consortium (WUN). |

Penn State World Campus is a member of the American Distance Education Consortium (ADEC). ADEC is a nonprofit distance education consortium composed of approximately 65 state universities and land-grant colleges. The consortium was conceived and developed to promote the creation and provision of high-quality, economical distance education programs and services to diverse audiences. |

The Online University Consortium provides prospective students with access to reputable universities and programs. Participating schools are determined based upon 5 criteria used to qualify a program or university. Penn State is one of only a few dozen top-quality online education providers that has qualified for membership. |
